It's hard to believe that it is October already! The school year is quickly moving along. We have some great things planned for this month!
On October 16th I will be hosting the first Mugs and Muffins with Kindergarten parents/families. The goal of this informal meeting is to provide an opportunity for our kindergarten parents/families to learn more about our K program here at Middleton, ask questions, share thoughts and ideas, and network with other parents. Coffee and pastries will be provided and there will be an opportunity at the end of our time to take a quick trip down to the classroom to see your children "in action!" The meeting is from 9:00-10:00 and all K parents/families are welcome. No need to RSVP!
Our school-wide meeting is Monday, October 23rd beginning at 8:45. We will be recognizing our outstanding citizens from each classroom and our Strong Leaders Team will unveil our new school rules!
We hope to see you on Tuesday, October 31st at 10:00am out front for our Halloween parade. Many classrooms will also be having celebrations in the afternoon. More information will be coming home from your teachers! Our route this year will travel the whole length of the front drive. We look forward to seeing all of the great costumes but please leave weapons, gore, and masks as home!
Please make sure you have signed and returned all important paperwork such as free/reduced lunch, permissions, and emergency cards. All of this information is extremely important to us ensuring the best experiences for your child(ren)! If you need any additional copies, please contact our main office. Also, make sure that your infosnap is updated. When I send important calls out, only those with updated infosnaps will receive them! If you need assistance with this, please contact Ms. Ruths.
We are excited for this school year and look forward to our continued partnerships with all of you! I am honored to serve as your principal.
